Oregon went 13-0 in the regular season last year, but opened the playoffs with a 41-21 loss to eventual national champion Ohio State, spoiling a strong year. The Dan Lanning-coached team finished the season in the top 20 in both scoring offense and scoring defense.
Heading into the offseason, Oregon will need to find its next quarterback. Dillon Gabriel had a strong season in Eugene but is off for the NFL now, leaving Dante Moore as the favorite to take over under center. The former UCLA passer brings several things to the table.
