Syracuse, N.Y. — The spring window for college football’s transfer portal window may be closed, but that doesn’t mean the action will slow down any time soon.
Oh no. The transfer portal never sleeps.
Friday was simply the deadline for eligible college football players to enter their names into the portal.
Fran Brown is still mining the portal, including hosting a number of players this week at Syracuse including a top-rated offensive tackle.
Syracuse did a cannonball into the portal pool by adding Notre Dame transfer quarterback Steve Angeli, but what other splashes do Brown and his staff still need to make?
Syracuse.com’s Brent Axe and Javon Edmonds evaluated where the Orange roster stands in the spring portal window on the latest episode of Syracuse Sports.
Axe and Edmonds also forecast the NFL careers for 2025 SU draft picks Kyle McCord, LeQuint Allen, Fadil Diggs Oronde Gadsden II and the Orange players who signed free agent deals this past weekend.
