Josh Dix led the exodus of transfers coming out of Iowa following the head coaching change and returns closer to home with a move to Creighton for the 2025-26 season. The Council Bluffs, Iowa, native was one of the most efficient scorers in the Big Ten this past season, connecting on 50.7% of his field goal attempts — sixth-best in the conference. Dix averaged 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 42.2% from 3-point range. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound versatile guard rated as a three-star recruit coming out of high school and ranked as the No. 1 prospect in Iowa for the 2022 class.
