Julian Neal was supposed to be an impact newcomer at Stanford this year. Following the Cardinal’s coaching change this spring, though, he hit the transfer portal for the second time in four months. He now fills a key need for Arkansas, which ranked last in the SEC in 2024 against the pass. Neal shined at Fresno State with 36 tackles, two interceptions and six pass breakups across his redshirt junior campaign, and that made him a priority target for the Razorbacks as they sought to improve their less-than-stellar secondary.
