USC men’s basketball received a transfer portal commitment from former UNC Asheville guard Jordan Marsh Sunday. The Charlotte, North Carolina native was named the Big South Conference Newcomer of the Year last season after averaging 18.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He shot 44.8 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from three-point range. Marsh will be a junior with two years of eligibility remaining.

Marsh stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs 165 pounds. He’s a quick and athletic guard who had a breakout second season of college basketball after starting his career at Appalachian State. Marsh’s addition gives the Trojans five guards for next season. He’s USC’s 11th scholarship player out of a possible 15, so expect more transfer portal additions in the future.
Marsh is the eighth transfer portal pick up for USC this cycle joining former Virginia forward Jacob Cofie, former Robert Morris wing Amarion Dickerson, the reigning Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, an All-Big West first-team selection, former Samford forward Jaden Brownell, former Youngstown State big man Gabe Dynes, former Utah forward Ezra Ausar, former Maryland guard Rodney Rice and former Auburn guard Chad Baker-Mazara.
Marsh is unranked in the 247Sports.com transfer portal recruiting rankings. He was also unranked coming out of high school.
