Kentucky Wildcats guard Collin Chandler dropped an offseason workout video on social media this weekend. The rising sophomore guard was seen sporting the vintage 1996 denim Kentucky basketball shorts.
Chandler, expected to play a significant role in the 2025-26 season, ended the year on a strong note. The sophomore guard from Utah got considerable playing time in the latter half of the season due to injuries at the guard position for the Wildcats.
The 6-foot-5 Chandler made at least one 3-pointer for the Wildcats in the last seven games. Chandler recorded 60 out of his 82 points this past season in the last 11 games of the season for the Wildcats.
Chandler, who was seen sporting the 1996 denim shorts, could have BBN on the lookout for them this upcoming season. The Wildcats could sport the vintage denim uniforms this season.
Mark Pope was asked about the uniforms on his weekly radio show late last year and said, “It’s definitely on my agenda of things to get accomplished.”
