PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) — Pittsburg High School senior Jett Burgess signs on Monday afternoon to play baseball at McPherson College (KS).
Burgess has had to overcome a serious elbow injury that sidelined him for a large portion of his junior year.
“I knew it was going to be a long journey once I got the results back knowing I was going to get surgery,” Burgess says. “But, I eventually put my head down, accepted it, went to work, and just said I’m going to come back from this — and did.”
