Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene, prompting an extensive investigation.

Williams is now in custody at the Volusia County Jail.

“There was chaos, you know, everybody was running,” Stephanie Kirby, the bartending working at McCabe’s that night, told Fox Orlando. “When bullets are flying, and you don’t know where they’re gonna land, that’s pretty scary.”

It remains unclear what started the fight that quickly escalated into gunfire. Harris was talking with friends just before he was killed, according to the report.

Williams, who spent two seasons with Miami and one with the Maryland Terrapins, played the most as a freshman with the Hurricanes.
