Iowa baseball is enjoying a tremendous 2025 campaign and the Hawkeyes are in control-their-own-destiny mode for a Big Ten regular season championship.
As Iowa (32-15, 21-6 Big Ten) takes a weekend off from Big Ten play, the Hawkeyes are getting set for a big series against No. 10 Oregon State. Iowa will close its regular season next weekend by hosting No. 5 Oregon where the Big Ten championship will hang in the balance.
Each of those two series represent tremendous opportunities for the Hawkeyes to bolster their at-large NCAA Tournament case. Iowa is currently the No. 67 team in the RPI while Oregon State is ranked No. 7 and Oregon State is ranked No. 24.
In D1Baseball’s latest field of 64 projections, Iowa is on the right side of the bubble. The Hawkeyes are one of the last four in, though.
