T-1. Devon Dampier, Utah (via New Mexico): 19

T-1. Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame: 19

T-3. Blake Horvath, Navy: 17

T-3. Makhi Hughes, Oregon (via Tulane): 17

T-3. Nick Singleton, Penn State: 17

That Singleton accumulated so many touchdowns last year despite playing in a true time-share with Kaytron Allen is a testament to his stardom. Both Penn State ballcarriers would likely be high-end featured backs on most other rosters, but they instead embraced the selflessness necessary to operate in such an elite tandem and, in fact, elected to do it for a fourth year in 2025. The Nittany Lions have the unquestioned best running back room in the sport.
