FAYETTEVILLE — The 2026 Shriners Children’s College Showdown will include Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech.
The games will be played Feb. 13-15 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, as part of Opening Weekend in college baseball. Matchups will be announced at a later date, but it is expected each game will be a nonconference game between an SEC and Big 12 team.
Arkansas also will play Tarleton State as part of a 4-day stay at the Texas Rangers’ home ballpark. That game is scheduled for Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
The Razorbacks will play in Arlington for the fifth time since 2021 when they played in the inaugural College Showdown. They have played at the ballpark each year since 2023 and Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn has said he plans to play at the ballpark with a retractable roof early each year.
“It’s exciting to play in front of 15,000-plus fans, and it’s something our players really enjoy,” Van Horn said in a release announcing next year’s field. “We can always count on Razorback fans to turn Globe Life Field into Baum South by creating a great atmosphere for us to play in.”
Arkansas has a record of 9-3 at the stadium and has played each of the Big 12 teams scheduled to be there next season. The Razorbacks are 2-1 against TCU, 1-1 against Oklahoma State and 1-0 against Texas Tech at Globe Life Field.
Home plate reserved tickets for the 2026 College Showdown will go on sale May 20 at 10 a.m. through the Globe Life Field website. The reserved tickets are $156 for adults and $84 for children 13 years and younger, and provide access to every game played during the weekend.
A $10 add-on can be included to access the Arkansas-Tarleton State matchup.
