Chanticleer Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule – Coastal Carolina University Athletics

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina baseball is excited to announce the 2025 schedule, which includes 27 home games versus teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big Ten, Big 12, Colonial Athletic Association, Atlantic 10, American Athletic Conference, Southeastern Conference, Southern Conference, and the Sun Belt Conference.

The 2025 schedule will see head coach Kevin Schnall‘s first team play 11 teams that made the 2024 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship Tournament last year in national seeds East Carolina, North Carolina, Clemson, and NC State, as well as Kansas State, UNCW, Alabama, James Madison, Southern Miss, and Louisiana.
 
The Chanticleers will kick off with the annual Baseball at the Beach Tournament on Feb.14-17. This year’s tournament will feature St. Joe, Kansas State, and Washington.
 
Coastal will open the season versus St. Joe on Opening Day, Friday, Feb. 14, and host K-State on Saturday, Feb. 15, before meeting Washington on Sunday, Feb. 16, and then wrapping up Opening weekend with a second matchup on Monday, Feb. 17 with Kansas State.
 
After a day off, CCU will host the College of Charleston on Wednesday, Feb. 1 before making the trek to Jacksonville, Fla., to compete in the Jax College Baseball Classic on Feb. 21-23. The Chants will meet Alabama on Friday, Feb. 21 and on Saturday, Feb. 22, the Men in Teal will play Ohio State before wrapping up the weekend with NC State on Sunday, Feb. 23.
 
Coastal Carolina will return home to the friendly confines of Springs Brooks Stadium for a four-game home stand versus UNC Wilmington on Tuesday, Feb. 25, and Rutgers on Feb. 28-March 2.
 
The Chants will take to the road for a four-game trip beginning with UNC on Tuesday, March 4 before wrapping up with ECU in Greenville, N.C. on March 7-9.
 
CCU will return home for a midweek tilt with Wake Forest on Tuesday, March 11, and then jump into Sun Belt Conference play on March 14-16 versus Georgia Southern.
 
Coastal will begin its longest road trip of the season with Campbell on Tuesday, March 18 and then the Chanticleers will make their way to Troy, Ala., for a three-game SBC series with Troy on March 211-23.
 
After an in-state trip to Clemson on Tuesday, March 25, CCU will close out the month of March in at Texas State on March 28-30.
 
The Chanticleers will return to Springs Brooks Stadium for a meeting with Campbell on Tuesday, April 1 before returning to Sun Belt play by welcoming Arkansas State for a weekend series on April 4-6.
 
On Tuesday, April 8, Coastal Carolina will travel to regional rival UNCW for a midweek matchup and then travel south to Atlanta, Ga., for a three-game series with Georgia State on March 11-13.
 
After a road trip to Wake Forest on Tuesday, April 15, the Chants will return home to take on Marshall on April 17-19 before the Easter holiday break.
 
Coastal will return to the road for a five-game road trip beginning with the College of Charleston on Tuesday, April 22, and then make its way north to James Madison for a weekend series on April 25-27 before finishing the month at UNCG on Tuesday, April 29.
 
The Chanticleers begin their longest homestand with seven games as App State comes to Conway, S.C., on May 2-4 followed by a midweek matchup with Clemson on Tuesday, May 6. CCU will wrap up the home portion of its schedule on May 8-9 for a three-game series with ULM.
 
Coastal Carolina will finish the regular season on the road with a Sun Belt Conference series with Old Dominion on May 8-10.
 
The 2025 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship Tournament will again be held at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., and is set for May 20-25.
