A tournament that began with 16 teams vying for the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA baseball tournament is down to the final two teams, both of whom happen to be two of the conference’s nine top 20-ranked teams in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

Fighting for that SEC trophy and an automatic spot in the NCAA Tournament will be Vanderbilt and Ole Miss at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Hoover Met Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.

To advance to the championship game, Vanderbilt rolled past both No. 12 seed Oklahoma and No. 8 seed Tennessee in the quarterfinals and semifinals. As for Ole Miss, the Rebels defeated No. 10 seed Florida in the second round, No. 2 seed Arkansas in the quarterfinals and No. 3 seed LSU in the semifinals.

A win on Sunday would mark Vanderbilt’s first SEC tournament title since 2023, while on the other side, it would be be Ole Miss’ first title since 2018.
