As the spring sports season enters the home stretch and high school proms are scattered across the Shore, the writing is on the wall that another school year is almost in the books. And for student-athletes in the Class of 2025, it marks the end of one chapter as another big story begins.

For football players, there’s hardly a pause between the end of the high school career and the beginning of a college career. Some elite recruits overlap entirely as early enrollees at their new schools. But most will begin in the fall.
