Just a handful of the 4,000-plus players to enter the 2025 college football transfer portal are still available after Memorial Day. The top eight players available are a mix of intriguing talents aiming to make an impact at the Power Five level next fall.
The top eight features a pair of former four-star wide receivers whose collegiate careers derailed with legal issues. One is currently facing a charge of assault with the use of a firearm a year removed from picking Oregon over an offer list that featured Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and LSU. The other has put his past legal issues behind him and is looking to return to the Power Five ranks after a big season in the Group of Five.
A former SEC starting cornerback, an ACC starting offensive tackle and a pair of quarterbacks from the class of 2024 are also among the top eight available.
