AUBURN — With the regular season over, Auburn baseball finds itself near the mountain top heading into the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers, who finished sixth in the SEC, were awarded the No. 4 overall seed in this year’s field of 64 on Monday. Tied for the program’s highest seeding ever in the NCAA Tournament, their standing sets them up with a national seed for the second time ever, and a chance to host a Super Regional at Plainsman Park for the first time.

They’ll open regional play against 4-seed Central Connecticut State on Friday. (6 p.m. CT, ESPN+) Should they win, they’ll take on the victor of Friday’s contest between 2-seed North Carolina State and 3-seed Stetson on Saturday. (8 p.m. CT, TBA)

“We can’t try to do more, we’ve just got to come ready to play,” Auburn coach Butch Thompson said Thursday. “Everybody thinks you get to a big moment and you have an out of body experience. We don’t necessarily believe that. These guys have a plethora of experience this year, with a ton of success to give them confidence. … We are not changing our game now, but we are doubling down and giving them reminders of what the highest level of play looks like.”

Here’s a full look at this weekend’s Auburn Regional, including the entire schedule, start times and TV information.
