Official visits have been in progress since April, but this weekend begins the four-week frenzy where most of the country gets top prospects on campus in hopes of winning commitments and building for the future. The Midlands Region — consisting of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas — accounts for quite a bit of national talent, and those prospects will be out and about visiting campuses across the country.
The SEC mines the Midlands for talent constantly, and this weekend is no different. The Southeast Conference is arguably the top conference in the country, which is why talent flocks to those schools each year.
