North Carolina opened the game with a three-run first inning and never looked back on its way to a 14-4 win to eliminate Oklahoma.

Even after a two-run home run in the second inning by the Sooners’ Drew Dickerson cut the deficit to one, the Tar Heels pulled away with a four-run third inning to put the game out of reach.

North Carolina added a pair of home runs in the eighth inning and another three-run blast in the ninth to finish off the blowout. Gavin Gallaher was responsible for two of the homers on back-to-back at-bats.

UNC advanced to face Arizona in a best-of-three series in the Super Regionals.
