Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancee Sarah Jane Ramos made a major life announcement this past weekend. The two revealed that their daughter Aurora Rayne Prescott was born on May 22.
Dak Prescott shared the news in an Instagram post on Saturday.
“Thank you God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne! May 22,2025. God is Great. I love you Sarah Jane and the Family we’ve created.”
This is the second child for Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos after their first daughter — Margaret Jane Rose Prescott — was born on February 22, 2024.
“MJ Rose, Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours!” Ramos said in a post at the time.
“Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you. Love, Mom & Dad.”
Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos have been engaged since October of 2024.
Prescott posted photos from when he proposed to Ramos on his Instagram account. The proposal occurred as the couple was out golfing.
“Mine Forever!!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for! Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I love you Sarah Jane 4EVER!” the post from Prescott said.
The 31-year-old former Mississippi State star has turned into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL after being drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Prescott was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year that season and has gone on to be named a Pro Bowler three times during his career.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback appeared in only eight games last season while battling an injury. He and the Cowboys are hoping to have a big bounce back year in 2025.
