SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A new local sports podcast is debuting Wednesday, promising an inside scoop on all things Utah Mammoth.
Smith Entertainment Group, the owner of Utah’s new professional hockey team, announced the new podcast Tuesday, saying it will be called the NashCast Podcast, named after its host, Tyson Nash.
The podcast will have updates on the Utah Mammoth team and organization, as well as feature NHL legends and current Mammoth players as guests. The first guest will be Bill Armstrong, the Utah Mammoth general manager.

“The NashCast Podcast is the newest way SEG Media is delivering on our commitment to give fans unique, direct insight into the Utah Mammoth, while also engaging them in thoughtful and fun discussions of hockey culture at large,” said Caroline Klein, SEG chief communications officer.
The hockey podcast is not entirely new, as it is an expansion of a previous broadcast that was only available on SEG+ last season. The Utah NHL podcast will now be found on all podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and iHeartRadio, as well as on SEG+ and YouTube.
The Utah Mammoth is the newest franchise in the NHL, and had its inaugural season in 2024 under the name Utah Hockey Club.
