COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football hosted its first one-day camp on Thursday, and it led to a number of offers getting dished out to potential prospects.
Here’s a list of the players who shared their offers via social media following the camp:
- Jonathan Galette: 2027 three-star athlete
- Eli Johnson: 2027 four-star safety
- Jordan Karhoff: 2027 four-star tight end
- Braylon Clark: 2028 unrated wide receiver
All ratings are based off the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Ohio State currently holds two commitments from 2027 prospects.
Five-star Jamier Brown, the top receiver and No. 1 in-state prospect in the class, was the first to commit.
Four-star Brady Edmunds, the sixth-best quarterback in the class, followed shortly after.
The Buckeyes have no commits in the 2028 class. While Clark is still unrated, position coach Brian Hartline’s reputation of recruiting receivers will likely lead to a quick jump up the rankings for the North Carolina product.
Blue Jackets prospect ready for Big Ten career
Cayden Lindstrom, the Blue Jackets’ fourth-overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, is prepared to return to the “routine of being a full-time hockey player” after a back injury, according to a report from The Athletic.
As a result, he’s preparing to play in the Big Ten — though it won’t be in Columbus.
Lindstrom is holding onto his commitment to Michigan State, where he intends to play beginning this fall.
Could Blue Jackets fans catch a glimpse of him in Columbus this upcoming season? That’s to be determined as the Big Ten has yet to release its 2025-26 schedule.
