A fresh wave of superstars washed up on Big Ten shores this offseason. Six players who topped the 2025 college football transfer portal at their respective positions landed at Big Ten schools, including the biggest catch of all — No. 1 overall, Nico Iamaleava.
No Big Ten team had a stronger showing in the transfer portal than Oregon. The Ducks boast the No. 5 class in the 247Sports Transfer Team Rankings, with seven of their 11 commitments earning four-star status. Dan Lanning and company lured three of the conference’s top 10 incoming transfers this offseason.
Six other Big Ten teams assembled top-25 transfer classes: Nebraska (No. 13), Wisconsin (No. 14), USC (No. 18), UCLA (No. 20), Indiana (No. 22) and Ohio State (No. 25). The Huskers joined Oregon in having multiple players make this list. Ohio State, Indiana, USC and Michigan also had a transfer finish among the Big Ten’s top 10 newcomers for 2025.
