DURHAM — Duke baseball and Murray State play Game 3 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament’s Durham Super Regional on Monday, June 9, with first pitch set for 7 p.m. ET at Jack Coombs Field.
The Blue Devils (41-20) and Racers (43-15) split the first two games in the best-of-three series at the Durham Super Regional. The game will be televised on one of ESPN’s channel and can be streamed on ESPN+.
Duke won Game 1 of the series before the Murray State (43-15) rallied with a rout in Game 2 to force a rubber match at Jack Coombs Field. If Duke beats Murray State, the Blue Devils will advance to the College World Series for the first time since 1961.
Facing a Game 3 scenario, the Blue Devils are 0-3 in their last three super regional appearances. They lost 12-2 at Virginia in 2023, 13-2 at Vanderbilt in 2019 and 6-2 at Texas Tech in 2018. This will be Duke’s first Game 3 as a super regional host.
Murray State, which is making its debut in the super regional round, is trying to clinch its first trip to the College World Series. Before this postseason, the Racers hadn’t won an NCAA Tournament since 1979.
