Miles to Participate in USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup Team Trials

FORT WORTH – Olivia Miles is set to rep the red, white and blue and represent TCU on the national stage.

Miles was invited to participate in the 2025 USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup Team trials, beginning June 17 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The 5-10 guard is one of 21 collegians vying for a spot on the final USA Women’s AmericaCup Team roster. Following player selections and a training camp, the United States will travel to Santiago, Chile for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, set for June 28-July 6.

Should Miles make the team, she will bid for her second gold medal on Chilean soil. She was a member of the 2019 USA U16 Women’s National Team that won the FIBA Americas Championship in Puerto Aysén, Chile. Miles averaged a tournament-leading 7.5 assists per game in the United States’ championship run.

Originally from Phillipsburg, N.J., Miles transferred to TCU from Notre Dame in April for her final collegiate season. She is the most accomplished point guard in college basketball. Miles is the active Division I leader in career assists per game average (6.5), career assists (654) and triple doubles (six) ahead of the 2025-26 season. She averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 assists and six rebounds per game across three-and-a-half seasons on the court for Notre Dame from 2021-25. Miles earned three sets of All-American accolades, including a second team honor in 2024-25, and was twice named a top-five finalist for the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award. This past season, Miles was the only player in the country who averaged 15 points, five assists and five rebounds per game while shooting 40 percent from deep.
