
Murray State baseball is a win away from making it to the College World Series.
The Racers (43-15) beat Duke, 19-9, in Game 2 of the Durham Super Regional at Jack Coombs Field.
Dustin Mercer is 6 for 11 at the plate in the super regional with four runs. Murray State, playing in its first super regional in program history, has scored 10 or more runs in seven of its last 11 games.
With a win today, the Blue Devils (41-20) would advance to the College World Series for the first time since 1961.

Durham Super Regional
Murray State baseball won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship for the first time since joining the league three seasons ago. The Racers previously won two Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championships (2003, 1979).
Murray State has made it to the NCAA Tournament three times in program history. The last time it made the 64-team field was in 2003. Its best previous postseason run was in the 1979 Starkville Regional at Mississippi State, where it went 2-2.
