The National Football League Players’ Association (NFLPA) has just released its list of the top-selling players for the last NFL season.
The data spans March 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025 and it reveals which of the biggest stars in football have sold the most merchandise. When we think of players’ merchandise thoughts typically go to jersey sales, but the modern game has an almost endless list of officially license goods for sale.
It could include figurines, bobbleheads, drinkware, decals, posters, accessories, player-specific apparel and much more. The NFLPA list brings together the sales made by more than 85 officially licensed sellers.
The big news for the latest rankings is that Saquon Barkley sits atop the list, ahead of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in second. Barkley is the first non-QB since 2017 to top the list but Mahomes still possess an incredible commercial pull.
The NFLPA rankings reveal that Mahomes is still the top-selling player in the following categories: Bobbleheads; Funko Pop; Wall decals and cutouts; Youth apparel; Figurines and squishy toys; and Player-identified posters.
This is the seventh year in a row that Mahomes has been in the top five for all players in terms of officially licensed product sales. This year’s top ten is comprised of: Barkley; Mahomes; Jalen Hurts; Jayden Daniels; C. J. Stroud; Josh Allen; Aidan Hutchinson; Amon-Ra St. Brown; Micah Parsons; and Justin Jefferson.
After leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl earlier this year, Barkley is one of the most globally popular names in the NFL and that championship win will undoubtedly have boosted sales. Last week Barkley was confirmed as the cover star for the Madden NFL 26 video game, further highlighting his incredible commercial appeal.
