GAMEDAY: Coastal Carolina baseball to take on Arizona in College World Series

OMAHA, Neb. (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina will take the field Friday on the biggest stage in college baseball: the World Series.

CCU is one of eight teams that made it to Omaha, Nebraska, to compete for a chance at winning it all.

The No. 13-seeded Chanticleers, 53-11, come into the World Series hot, winning their last 23 games.

The team faces off against the Arizona Wildcats on Friday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.

CCU said ESPN will televise the game, and it will air on the Chanticleer Sports Network and will be available on the Chanticleer Mobile App.

Depending on the outcome, CCU will either play Sunday at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.
