Day 2 of the College World Series continues on Saturday afternoon in Omaha.
On Friday, Coastal Carolina extended its win streak to a remarkable 24 games with a 7-4 win over Arizona. Then in the night cap, Oregon State walked-off Louisville in a very hard-fought game.
There are two more games to be played on Saturday to finish off the first round of the 2025 College World Series.
College World Series Day 2 schedule
Here’s a look at the schedule for Day 2 of CWS action:
- Murray State vs. No. 15 UCLA | 2 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
- No. 6 LSU vs. No. 3 Arkansas | 7 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
Murray State is this year’s Cinderella story at the College World Series. The Racers pulled off numerous upsets in order to get to this stage of the tournament, including a win over Duke in the Durham Super Regional. Murray State will now face a UCLA team that has cruised through the postseason with a 5-0 record.
LSU and Arkansas are the final SEC teams remaining in the field after 13 initially made the NCAA Tournament. LSU survived a scare in the Baton Rouge Regional from Little Rock, but then swept West Virginia in its Super Regional matchup last weekend thanks to a 28-run outburst over 2 games. Arkansas also swept its Super Regional, crushing defending champs Tennessee in order to punch its ticket to Omaha.
