Logan Runde received plenty of quality inside information on the University of Iowa baseball program as he pondered where he would spend his final season of college baseball eligibility.
In addition to former Dubuque Hempstead teammate Kellen Strohmeyer and Dubuque Wahlert grad Aaron Savary, Runde reached out to a handful of his old junior college buddies before making a decision. And right away he knew the Hawkeyes would be the perfect fit.
