The Razorbacks are coming off a tight 4-1 loss to SEC rival No. 6 seed LSU on June 14. Starter Zach Root lasted less than two innings, forcing Dave Van Horn to use his bullpen in the loss. Arkansas will need to get its offense ― led by the “Bash Braddahs” ― to continue in the tournament.

The Racers, just the fourth No. 4 seed in the CWS’s history, are coming off a 6-4 loss to No. 15 UCLA on June 14. Murray State led 6-0 after four innings but was able to pull within two runs in the loss. The Racers haven’t lost back-to-back games since dropping a doubleheader to Illinois State on March 29.
