Port Byron baseball’s Connor Usowksi signed his commitment letter on Wednesday to attend Le Moyne College at the beginning of the 2025 fall semester.
The senior southpaw is coming off a season where he led the Panthers in innings pitched (51), strikeouts (135) and ERA (2.51).
Out of his 10 appearances during the 2024 season, Usowski struck out at least 12 batters in eight of them.
At the plate, he racked up nine walks, eight hits, eight runs and three RBIs in 34 at-bats over his junior year.
Usowski and Port Byron are slated to kick off the 2025 season when they host Cato-Meridian on April 1 at home.
