LSU baseball and Coastal Carolina open up the best-of-three series for the national championship in the College World Series finals at Charles Schwab Field Saturday night. Game one is set for first pitch at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Both the Chanticleers (56-11) and the Tigers (51-15) are undefeated in Omaha going 3-0 on their respective sides of the bracket. LSU defeated Arkansas, UCLA and Arkansas again in the CWS semifinals to reach the championship series.

Coastal Carolina beat Arizona, Oregon State and Louisville en route to the finals. The Chants are currently on a 26-game win streak, which is the longest in college baseball this season.

The winner of game one would take a 1-0 series lead and place themselves squarely in the driver’s seat to win the national title.
