Trio of Tigers sign to play college baseball

Three Tigers signed to play college baseball during a ceremony at Hartselle High School on Monday afternoon.

Ty Marsh put pen to paper to make his commitment to Western Kentucky official while Easton Nelms inked with Samford and Jace Meadows with Alabama-Huntsville.

All three said it was a day they’d been waiting for.

“I’ve really worked hard for this. All my life, I’ve always strived for this,” Easton Nelms said. “It’s been a day [that’s] been stuck in my mind since I was born.”

“It means a lot,” Marsh said. “I appreciate all the love I’ve gotten and support. It’s been my dream ever since I was a kid.”

“It’s a great feeling, you know, getting to finally celebrate something that I’ve put in all the work for,” Meadows said. “And I’m really glad I get to do it with my guys, Ty and Easton, up here.”
