8. Shelton Henderson, SF, Miami
Final 2025 Recruiting Ranking: No. 25 OVR | No. 7 SF
Henderson earned a release from his National Letter of Intent to Duke on April 17 and followed former Blue Devils assistant Jai Lucas to Miami. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward averaged 22.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, four assists and three steals per game as a senior at Bellaire (Tex.).
“Henderson is one of the most physically imposing players in the country, especially on the perimeter,” director of scouting Adam Finkelstein said. “He’s long and powerful with an absolutely chiseled frame from head to toe. He has an overlap of extreme physical gifts, feel for the game, intangibles, and two-way versatility that is unique in this class, and there’s still plenty of upside left to discover.”
