Even in a new era of Alabama football, the Crimson Tide is still a large part of the NFL draft conversation.
With the 2025 NFL draft looming, three Alabama players – linebacker Jihaad Campbell, offensive lineman Tyler Booker and quarterback Jalen Milroe – are planning to attend in person. Campbell and, potentially, Booker could be first-round picks.
Where would be the best fit for Alabama football players at the next level? Here’s a look at some potential fits.
Jihaad Campbell NFL draft projection
In the first season of Kane Wommack’s “Swarm” Alabama defense, Campbell was the face of its production, recording 117 tackles – eighth-most in Alabama history – and a team-leading 11.5 tackles for loss.
Most mock drafts have Campbell, a 6-foot-3, 244-pound outside linebacker, as a mid-to-late first-round selection with ties to teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Indianapolis Colts.
Tyler Booker NFL draft projection
Booker was invaluable to Alabama both as an All-American who started two seasons at left guard and as a team captain.
While Booker is regarded as one of the top guards in the class, his standing as a firm first-round draft selection has waned. He has been consistently picked in mock drafts behind guards like North Dakota State’s Grey Zabel and Ohio State’s Donovan Jackson. Expect teams like the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars in the second, or even the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens at the end of the first round, to be in on Booker, who could be a plug-and-play starter from day one.
Jalen Milroe NFL draft projection
Milroe is turning into one of the most talked-about prospects in the 2025 NFL draft cycle. After a roller coaster of a final season with the Crimson Tide, Milroe seems to be firmly in the second group of quarterbacks behind Miami’s Cam Ward, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Ole Miss‘ Jaxson Dart.
Milroe could very well be the fourth quarterback off the board in the 2025 draft. But it will be more than likely in the second round, potentially to a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Philadelphia Eagles or the New York Giants.
Malachi Moore NFL draft projection
A multi-year starter, a team captain and a national champion at Alabama, Malachi Moore left a significant legacy with the Crimson Tide.
And while Moore brings positional versatility at safety and nickel, his smaller frame will likely secure him as a Day 3 pick with players like South Carolina’s Nick Emmanwori, Georgia’s Malaki Starks and Notre Dame’s Xavier Watts also on draft boards. Look for a team like the San Francisco 49ers, Ravens or Green Bay Packers to take a flier on Moore.
Que Robinson NFL draft projection
Primarily a linebacker at Alabama, one who finished his career with 54 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and six sacks, Que Robinson, standing at 6-4, 243 pounds, projects more as an edge rusher at the next level.
With players like Ohio State’s Jack Sawyer and J.T. Tuimoloau and South Carolina’s Kyle Kennard in the same class, and with Georgia’s Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams at the top of the board, Robinson should be a Day 3 pick for a team like the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions or Eagles.
