According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, the Alabama Crimson Tide are set host the Yale Bulldogs as part of the program’s 2025-26 college basketball non-conference schedule.
As for the date and time of the matchup, those details are still currently to be determined. This matchup against Yale also joins others on Alabama‘s 2025-26 non-conference schedule such as Arizona, Illinois, and Purdue.
One of the top programs in the Ivy League, Yale is coming off a 2024-25 season in which the Bulldogs won both the regular season and tournament conference titles with a 22-8 overall record that featured a 13-1 mark against league opponents. Led by long-time head coach James Jones, the Bulldogs also made their second-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and have made five trips to March Madness since the 2015-16 season, headlined by a first round upset of Auburn as a No. 13 seed in 2024.
This matchup will be the second-ever meeting between Alabama and Yale on the hardwood, the first of which came back in 2008. Played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama won that matchup by a final score of 66-63.
