Arkansas baseball opponent set for College World Series. Who Hogs will face, and when

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball will face LSU to open the College World Series.

The No. 3 overall seed Razorbacks (48-13) and No. 6 Tigers (48-15) are the only two SEC teams to qualify for Omaha. One of them will be on the brink of a postseason exit after the first game of the double elimination tournament. The College World Series schedule hasn’t been released, but these two rivals will likely play on Saturday.

LSU advanced out of the Baton Rouge Super Regional by sweeping West Virginia. The Tigers were pushed by Little Rock to a decisive Game 7 of the Baton Rouge Regional earlier this month.
