Arkansas women’s basketball transfer portal tracker

The transfer portal for women’s basketball opened March 25 and newly hired Arkansas coach Kelsi Musick is expected to be busy finding transfers to help build her first roster with the Razorbacks. The portal will close April 23.

INCOMING TRANSFERS (5)

Forward — Maria Anais Rodriguez (signed April 30)

Rodriguez, a 6-1 native of Barcelona, Spain, recently completed her freshman season at Oklahoma State. She played in 10 games and averaged 1.4 points and 1 rebound in 3.6 minutes.

Prior to playing at Oklahoma State, Rodriguez helped Spain win silver at FIBA U18 Women’s Eurobasket. She averaged 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists during the competition.

Arkansas junior forward Cristina Sánchez Cerqueira, who is from Granada, Spain, was teammates with Rodriguez on Segle XXI, a Barcelona-based Spanish women’s basketball team.

Old school: Oklahoma State

Center — Ashlynn Chlarson (signed April 19)

Chlarson, 6-3, chose Arkansas over offers from Alabama, Mississippi State, Cal and others. 

She was part of an Eastern Arizona College team that advanced to the 2025 NJCAA Final Four. Chlarson averaged 10.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game with a 48.8% field goal percentage this season, according to the NJCAA website. 

Chlarson had a 19-point, 16-rebound, 3-block performance in a 2025 NJCAA Tournament quarterfinal victory over Wabash Valley College and she was named to the all-tournament team.

Some of her top performances were a 30-point, 19-rebound showing March 12 vs. College of Southern Nevada, a 21-point, 19-rebound game Dec. 16 against Utah State Eastern and a 20-point, 16-rebound outing Nov. 8 against Colorado Northwestern Community College.

Guard — Emily Robinson (signed April 12)

Robinson, 5-10, averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists as a junior at Oral Roberts in 2024-25. She had a 43.5% field goal percentage.

She scored 20 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists when the Golden Eagles defeated Arkansas 94-73 on Nov. 21 at Bud Walton Arena. 

Robinson was the 2023-24 Summit League freshman of the year.

Guard — Taleyah Jones (signed April 11)

Jones, 5-10, led the Golden Eagles in scoring each of the past two seasons and averaged 18.1 points as a junior in 2024-25. 

She was named to the All-Summit League first team this year, and was the 2023-24 Summit League newcomer of the year after transferring from Texas-Arlington. 

She is following new Arkansas coach Kelsi Musick, who led Oral Roberts from 2022-25.  

Jones scored at least 20 points in 17 games this season, including 23 during a 94-73 victory at Arkansas last November. She scored a career-high 37 points during a 91-78 victory over South Dakota on Jan. 11, 2024. 

She has averaged 3.4 points and 1.6 assists per game over her career, and has shot 43.4% from the field, 29.4% from three-point range and 83.9% on free throws.

Guard — Wyvette Mayberry (signed April 3)

Mayberry, 5-7, averaged 10.1 points, 2.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds over three seasons with the Jayhawks. She will be a sixth-year player in 2025-26 after missing most of last season with a knee injury.

Mayberry started all 32 games in 2023-24 and helped Kansas advance to the 2024 NCAA Tournament second round. She scored 15 points and had 5 assists in an 81-72 overtime victory over Michigan in the first round.

She began her career at Tulsa, where she played two seasons and averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3 assists.

Over her career, Mayberry has a 37.5% field goal percentage, 31.1% three-point percentage and 75.4% free throw percentage.

She is the daughter of Arkansas men’s basketball legend Lee Mayberry, the program’s No. 3 all-time leading scorer.

OUTGOING TRANSFERS (6)

Guard — Carly Keats (entered April 3)

Keats played two seasons at Arkansas after transferring from Jones (Miss.) College ahead of the 2023-24 season. She averaged 6.5 points and shot 27.6% from three-point range while at Arkansas.

She started 31 of the 59 games she played in as a Razorback. Keats scored a career-high 19 points during an 84-45 victory over Southeast Missouri State on Dec. 8.

New school: Southern Miss

Forward — Pinja Paananen (entered April 2)

Paananen, a Finland native, played in 26 games and averaged 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds as a freshman in 2024-25. 

She played in 19 games on the 16-under, 18-under and 20-under Finland national teams that included two Nordic Championship gold medals in 2021 and 2023.

New school: Sacramento State

Guard — Kiki Smith (entered April 1)

Smith was the top three-point shooter for the Razorbacks as a sophomore last season (minimum 3 attempts), shooting at a 58-of-143 (40.6%) clip. She was the team’s second-leading scorer averaging 10.2 points, and she scored at least 20 points in three games.

Prior to coming to Arkansas, she played at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. Smith was the NJCAA Division I Player of the Year in 2023-24 when she averaged 17.6 points and shot 44.4% from three-point range.

New school: Purdue

Guard — Karley Johnson (entered April 1)

Johnson, an Oklahoma City native, played three seasons and averaged 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds at Arkansas. She started 9 of the 30 games she played in as a junior in 2024-25.

New school: N/A

Guard — Phoenix Stotijn (entered March 26)

Stotijn, a native of Amsterdam, Netherlands, enrolled early at Arkansas for the second semester of the 2023-24 season. She had to sit out the first semester of the 2024-25 season due to not receiving an NCAA waiver.

Stotijn started 12 of 21 games she played in as a freshman and ranked third on the team averaging 7.2 points. She shot 31.7% from the field and 26% from three-point range.

Her season was highlighted by a 23-point performance in an 80-71 victory at Texas A&M in the regular season finale March 2. Stotijn averaged 2.2 assists, 2.6 turnovers, 0.6 steals and 1.5 rebounds.

New school: Indiana

Forward — Vera Ojenuwa (entered March 26)

Ojenuwa started all 32 games for Arkansas last season and averaged 6.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 22.3 minutes played. She recorded four double-doubles, including a 20-point, 10-rebound performance in a 76-60 win over Arkansas State on Nov. 24.

Foul trouble was an issue for Ojenuwa, whose 103 fouls led the team and were 51 more than the next closest player. Her 55 turnovers were tied for third-most on the team.

Ojenuwa, 6-4, transferred from Barton (Kan.) Community College last offseason and has two years of eligibility remaining. She is originally from Lagos, Nigeria.

She signed with Georgia on April 1.

WITHDRAWALS (1)

Forward — Cristina Sánchez Cerqueira (withdrew April 7)

Sánchez Cerqueira started 12 of 30 games she played. She averaged 2.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 16.5 minutes played.

She is a member of the Spanish National Team and played at the FIBA U18 3×3 World Cup and European Youth Olympic Festival 3×3. Sánchez Cerqueira has two years of eligibility remaining.

She entered the portal March 26 and withdrew 12 days later.
