Auburn Tigers basketball legend Charles Barkley shares major career news ahead of NBA-NBC agreement

Charles Barkley revealed to the Next Round Live crew that after being questioned about how he had helped keep the people he worked with at TNT employed, he had something up his sleeve that no one saw coming.

Charles Barkley, legendary NBA player and now legendary sports announcer, revealed that he’ll continue his broadcasting career.

“I actually signed my deal in the last couple weeks that I was gonna stay, but I was like hey guys, I’m not gonna be working a lot more, because I know how ESPN is, they’ll work you like a dog if you let them,’ Barkley said.

“I had a sit down with Ernie and he said ‘Hey give me a couple more years, just a couple,’ and Ernie said ‘I’m gonna stay for two more years, and I said TNT, I’m not staying longer.’

“I just signed the deal I’m going to be on TNT and ESPN for the next two years.”

That’s huge for the fans and for the viewership of the NBA.

A lot of fans didn’t know what was going to happen after TNT announced they weren’t going to have the NBA anymore.

This will help ease their fans’ pain as Chuck will be there to make them laugh for at least the next two years.
