Baseball’s Saturday Game vs. Florida Suspended Due to Storms

COLUMBIA — The University of South Carolina baseball team’s game on Saturday (May 3) vs. Florida has been suspended due to heavy storms in the Midlands.

The game was stopped in the bottom of the third inning with Florida up 1-0. Carolina has a runner on 2nd with two out in the frame.

The suspended game will continue Sunday, May 4 starting at 1:30 p.m., at Ray Tanner Field at Founders Park. The third and final game of the series will start 50 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game. Game one of the day will be nine innings while game two will be seven-inning contest.

TICKET INFORMATION: Ticket holders who have the Saturday, May 3rd  SERIES GM2 reserved tickets will be able to sit in their seats for the 1:30 p.m. game until the game concludes and then move to the Corner Pantry Berm/SRO areas for the second game of the doubleheader.

Ticket holders who have the Sunday, May 4th SERIES GM3 reserved tickets can come in for the 1:30 p.m. game and go to the Corner Pantry Berm/SRO areas and then move into their seats when the second game begins.
