Kentucky and Missouri faced off in an SEC men’s college basketball clash on Saturday, but one couple simply couldn’t pick a side to root for.
ESPN cameras caught a man and woman wearing t-shirts combining the names and colors of the schools, with the former’s shirt reading ‘Missucky Tigcats’ and the latter’s saying ‘Kentouri Wilders.’
And while the couple was all smiles as they were featured on screen, college basketball fans ripped them for their fashion choices.
‘As your President, people WILL go to jail for this,’ one wrote.
‘There are lots of things that are it. These are not it…,’ another added.
‘If I’m ever in a ‘house divided’ it will always still be F*** that other school. There’s none of that, I’ll cheer for the other school… HELL no,’ a third chimed in.

And a fourth asked, ‘Do they have kids in each school? Only acceptable reason.’
That doesn’t appear to be the case as none of the players on the Kentucky or Missouri rosters share a last name.
Nonetheless, a post from No College Context Basketball publicizing the fans has gone viral on X, with more than 222k views (and counting) on X as of Saturday evening.
Ultimately, it’s the couple’s Kentucky side that will have left Mizzou Arena the most satisfied as the No. 19 Wildcats beat the No. 15 Tigers 91-83.
Otega Owed led the visitors with 22 points over their SEC rivals, while Koby Brea chipped in with 17 and Andrew Carr had 16.
Missouri got 22 points from Mark Mitchell and 17 from Marques Warrick off the bench, but fell to 21-10 on the season and 10-8 in their conference – the exact same records Kentucky ascended to with the win.
Both teams’ regular seasons are now over, with the SEC Tournament beginning on Wednesday.
