We don’t actually get to watch Eddie Smith and the Washington Husky baseball team today. We did get to see them get a win last night and it’d be a ton of fun to see the Huskies have a chance to build upon that sort of momentum. I’d appreciate that, at least. I love baseball.
But nope, no Washington Husky baseball today. Instead, we do get a little bit of Big Ten baseball to watch. And actually, we get to see a Big Ten team take on a pretty familiar face. It won’t be anywhere near Seattle, but the Iowa Hawkeyes are taking on a winless Washington State Cougars baseball team.
And that’s technically Big Ten baseball. We can talk about it. We can watch it. Hopefully, we can enjoy seeing a Big Ten baseball team win this game.
I, for one, would appreciate that. I don’t know about you, but I’d have fun with that.
NCAA college baseball schedule, Feb. 27: The Iowa Hawkeyes and Washington State Cougars are set to meet up in Texas
Down in the Lone Star State, the Hawkeyes and Cougars will meet up. In Cleburne, Texas (yes, I’m from Texas and while I do a fair bit of travelling, I’ve never been to Cleburne. I don’t even know much about it) the Hawkeyes and Cougars will face off at noon (for folks on the West Coast) in what will be the first of four meetings between the two teams.
I don’t know exactly why this four-game series is in Cleburne of all places, but it’s warm and Texans love their baseball.

This is the only Big Ten baseball game that is set for today. So, if you’re desperate to watch some Big Ten baseball, this is what you’ve got. A 3-3 Iowa Hawkeyes team taking on a winless Washington State team. In Texas. As part of a four game series. College baseball is quirky sometimes and I love it.
