Monday was a busy day for the Braves on and off the field.
On the field, they got the job done in a 6-3 win over the Rockies, despite starting the game down 3-0 after the first inning.
Off the field, Atlanta made some changes to its pitching depth and the Outfield. Recently claimed Ian Anderson was brought to Colorado to join the Braves while old friend Eddie Rosario signed a major league contract. Jarred Kelenic and Davis Daniel were optioned to the minors, while Zach Thompson was DFA’d. The reunions of Anderson and Rosario with the Braves are certainly notable, but Kelenic being sent to the minors stands out in this flurry of roster moves. It will be highly interesting to see how his career proceeds from here.
