Broncos considered a top-12 team in NFL power rankings

With the first wave of NFL free agency wrapped up, the grades are out and attention is now shifting to the upcoming 2025 NFL draft.

NFL.com’s Eric Edholm recently published an updated NFL power rankings following the initial wave of free agency and he has the Denver Broncos ranked 12th. That’s up one spot from Edholm’s last update.

Edholm was impressed by the team adding linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga to “a defense that was already in the upper tier of the league.”

“They are coming off injury-shortened seasons (as is Engram), but even with the risk, I love both defensive additions,” Edholm wrote. “The offseason is off to a nice start overall.”

Denver is ranked second in the AFC West, behind the Kansas City Chiefs (No. 2) but above the Los Angeles Chargers (No. 13) and Las Vegas Raiders (No. 26).

The Philadelphia Eagles are ranked No. 1 and the Tennessee Titans are ranked No. 32 (last). To view Edholm’s complete NFL power rankings, visit NFL.com.
