Cardinals draw smallest non-COVID crowd in stadium history

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Cardinals on Monday drew the smallest non-COVID-19 crowd in the history of Busch Stadium III.

The Cardinals set new low-attendance records for the stadium, which opened in 2006, during the 2024 season, their second in a row without a playoff appearance. The smallest crowd last year came Aug. 29 against the San Diego Padres, with a paid attendance of 26,553.
