If you’re a fan of video games like I am, you’re probably amped for the release of EA Sports College Football 26 which hits stores next month. It’ll be a chance to quench that thirst for Clemson football for six weeks before the start of the 2025 season.
And the Tigers should be one of the best teams in the game.
If you’re craving a football Saturday when the game releases in July, just fire up the XBox or Playstation 5 and start a dynasty with Clemson and lead Cade Klubnik to the Heisman Trophy in 2025. It should be one of the easier tasks the game has to offer because, like I said, Clemson will be one of the highest-rated teams.
Not only will Clemson be one of the game’s gems on the field, but it could also feature one of the most extensive catalogues of graphics, seeing as the Tigers set the “gold standard” for the game’s developers, sending in more than 7,000 pictures to reference for the game.
People who worked on the game raved about what the Tigers did on a recent podcast shared by Clemson football on X.
Clemson sent over 7000 photo references for #CFB26 🤯 #ItsInTheGame

That’s right, Clemson sent in over 7,000 pictures, individually separated into different folders to make it easier for developers and they called it the “gold standard” of what schools should do if they want the best and most realistic feel for their home field in the game.
Honestly, brilliant move by Clemson because it might just have the best intro and overall experience of any team in the game due to the 7,000-plus references.
July 10 seriously cannot come soon enough.
