VSiN Best Bets: 9-5, +4.50 units

Oklahoma State ML (+105) vs. Duke

Confirmed Starters: Harrison Bodendorf vs Owen Proksch

In a true battle of good pitching vs. good hitting, I’m going to back the team that has consistently been pitching the ball well, thanks to Oklahoma State ace Harrison Bodendorf. For those who have followed my exclusive plays for VSiN, we’ve backed this arm before. I’m going back to the well with him today. At Foley Field in Athens, this park should play in favor of the pitching staffs, so given the option, I’ll take the better one.

West Virginia ML (-130) vs. Kentucky

Confirmed Starters: Griffin Kirn vs. Ben Cleaver

West Virginia rolls into the regionals as the winners of the Big 12 Regular Season. They’ll take on a Kentucky team who is lucky to be here. Kentucky was wildly inconsistent all season long, but hats off to them for making the field. They’ll be throwing Ben Cleaver opposite West Virginia’s ace, Griffin Kirn. I think Kirn is the difference maker here. Opting to pitch off of their normal Friday guy could end up biting Kentucky. These two teams should make for a competitive game with contrasting styles, but again, Kirn should have success vs this Wildcats offense.
