MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Catawba pitchers allowed 17 hits, but the Indians never stopped hitting and pulled out a 12-11 win at Georgia College on Tuesday.
It was 10-all after seven. Ranked 11th in Division II, Catawba (14-5) scored two decisive runs in the top of the eighth. Georgia College is 9-11.
Freshman Joe Burleyson (East Rowan) pitched the bottom of the seventh, so he was in the right place at the right time for his first college win.

Sean Shelly swatted his fourth homer. Dylan Driver (Carson) socked his sixth. Driver has homered in four straight games.
