Clemson baseball earned a midweek win over Georgia but took a tough blow over the weekend after being swept by NC State on the road.
The Tigers (36-10, 13-8 ACC) entered the week ranked No. 2 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, one spot behind No. 1 Texas. Clemson could potentially take a fall in the April 28 rankings update.
Six ACC teams were ranked inside the top 25 of the last Coaches Poll, and one of college baseball’s toughest conferences should have plenty of teams in the rankings again on Monday.
