The Deacons took a 4-0 lead in the fourth inning with an impressive RBI single from Marek Houston as well as a two-run double by Jack Winnay.

Wake Forest jumped out to a 10-0 advantage before Cincinnati was able to get on the board due to home runs from Houston, Matt Scannell and Austin Hawke.

Mississippi State 3, Northeastern 2

The opening matchup of Sunday’s Tallahassee Regional featured a hard-fought clash between the Bulldogs and Huskies.

Mississippi State took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning after Hunter Hines picked up a RBI double.
